What we collect

  • Account info: your email and OAuth provider ID (Google or GitHub) when you sign in.
  • Lecture material: files you upload to generate labs. Files are processed in flight and discarded; only the extracted JSON summary persists.
  • Generated content: labs and problems Kodo generates for you, your code submissions, and pass or fail results.
  • Billing info: handled by Stripe. We never see your card details. We store your Stripe customer ID and subscription status.
  • Usage analytics: anonymous page views and feature usage via Vercel Analytics.

What we don't do

  • We don't sell your data to anyone.
  • We don't train AI models on your uploads or your code.
  • We don't advertise or share your data with advertisers.

Third party services

Kodo uses these processors to operate the service:
  • Supabase: auth and database storage.
  • Stripe: payments and subscription management.
  • Google AI Studio (Gemini): generates lab content from your topic and material.
  • Judge0: runs your Java code submissions and returns results.
  • Vercel: hosting and analytics.

Your rights

You can delete your account at any time from your account settings. We'll remove your data within 30 days, except where we're required to retain it for legal or billing reasons (e.g., tax records). You can request a copy of your data at any time.

Cookies

Kodo uses cookies for authentication (keeping you signed in) and session management. We don't use tracking or advertising cookies.

Changes

We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be communicated to active users.
