Terms of Service

1. The service

Kodo is a coding practice tool that generates programming problems from topics or uploaded lecture material. By using Kodo you agree to these terms.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate sign up information and keep your account credentials secure. One account per person. Don't share your account or use it on behalf of someone else without our consent.

3. Acceptable use

Don't do any of the following: abuse the service to extract data at scale, attempt to bypass quotas or rate limits, reverse engineer the platform, infringe anyone's rights, upload material you don't have permission to use, or interfere with other users.

4. Generated content

Kodo uses third party AI providers to generate problems. We don't guarantee that generated content is correct, original, or fit for any particular purpose. You're responsible for verifying anything you rely on.

5. Your content

You own the lecture material you upload. By uploading, you grant Kodo a limited, non exclusive license to process that material for the purpose of generating problems for you. We don't train models on your uploads.

6. Passes and billing

Paid access is sold via Stripe. The Exam Pass is a one-time payment that grants unlimited access for a fixed window (30 days) and does not auto-renew. The Annual Pass is billed yearly and renews until canceled; you can cancel anytime through the billing portal. No refunds for partial periods unless required by law.

7. Account deletion and termination

You can delete your account at any time from your account settings. Deleting cancels any active subscription, removes your labs, problem attempts, and uploaded summaries within 30 days, and revokes our license to anything you uploaded. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or abuse the service. We retain billing records and other data we're legally required to keep (e.g., tax records).

8. Disclaimers and liability

Kodo is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the past 12 months.

9. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to active users. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
